Wantable February 2015 Accessories Box

Wantable is a monthly subscription service which offers 3 different customizable boxes: beauty, intimates, or accessories. You can get a one time box for $40 or a monthly subscription for $36. Each month you will receive a box with 4-5 full size items based on your personal preferences. If you decide that you don't like the items that Wantable's stylists pulled for you, you can send the entire box back for a full refund. It's a Win, Win! This month I decided to do a one time order for the accessories box.
"The Feburary Accesseries Collection has the perfect pieces to spice up your wardrobe this sping. Here are a few ways to wear our accessories this month. Rather than settling for boring and blah pasterls, we're loving amped up versions of those soft hues in beautiful beads and stones. Just shy of neon, these vivide pieces inject a dose of casual chic style when paired with basic neautrals. Also trending this month is brushed gold, which looks incredible when incorporated with bold colors. We also love delicate pieces that are perfect when layered with coordinating pireces for a bohemian look."

* The retail value of my box this month was $85.00 I have learned that the best way to get items that you are really looking for is to be very picky in your preference survey. This time around I was hoping for some long chained statement necklaces and Wantable definitely delivered. I don't own many long  necklaces so I was happy to see that I received 3 different ones in my February box.

Physicians Formula Extreme Shimmer Collection

For those individuals who know me, I am not the biggest fan of drug store makeup. I am not a brand snob by any means and do use some drug store products however I tend to gravitate more towards the prestige brands.

I was browsing through the internet when I stumbled upon the new Extreme Shimmer Collection from Physicians Formula. The collection includes a new series of eye shadow palettes and eyeliners in Nude and Smoky eye colors. I have swatches of the collection below.

A highly-pigmented liquid powder eye shadow palette that included 6 multi-reflective shimmer eye shadows in different shades of brown.
Extreme Shimmer Nude Eyeliner Set
Ultra shimmery glitter eyeliner trio in Champagne, Brown and Black
 The Smoky Collection
A highly-pigmented liquid powder eye shadow palette that included 6 multi-reflective shimmer eyeshadows in different shades of grey
Ultra shimmery glitter eyeliner trio in Silver, Pewter, and Black

Verdict: I am somewhat on the fence about this collection. I loved both eyeliner sets. The formula went on smoothly and the colors were beautifully pigmented. My concern was with the eye shadow palettes. On their own, each color in the palette is gorgeous but when I was swatching them there was not much distinction between the shades. Also I should mention that there was a slight amount of fall out with these eye shadows which I think has to do with the new formula.

* If you would like to pick up these items from the Physicians Formula Extreme Shimmer Collection, they are available for $11.99 each at ULTA.
