Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette

What it is:
A limited-edition eye shadow palette featuring twelve unexpected neutrals in a stellar array of shimmers and mattes to deliver effortless celestial looks.

What it does:
Experience the bolder side of neutral with this lunar-inspired palette of cool, cosmic colors. These twelve new provocative shades are brilliantly arranged into three quads, each featuring a large, versatile base or highlighter shade with a corresponding trio of accent hues—from irresistible silvers to moon-dust nudes and smoldering earth tones in pearl and matte finishes. These ultra smooth eye shadows are milled with a triple-jet process to yield rich pigment in just one swipe while delivering the ultimate blendability and crease-free wear.

This Set Contains the Following Colors from L-R:

  • Gravitron (soft iridescent pink)
  • Night Crawler (matte dusty beige)
  • Dios (silvery gray iridescence)
  • Lunacy (rich pearlized purple)
  • Vast (pearlized taupe)
  • Astrological (pale lilac sheen)
  • Darkstar (purplish pewter)
  • Orion (matte chocolate brown)
  • Lycan (matte cream)
  • 3am (metallic champagne)
  • Moonshine (metallic silver)
  • Killing Moon (matte black)

Verdict: I really wanted to love this palette but most of the colors weren't anything unique. The neutral colors all seemed dupeable to me however the metallic finished colors were amazing. The pigmentation and color pay on them is gorgeous. If you don't own many palettes KVD's Innerstellar palette would be a great addition to your collection but if like myself you own quite a few I would skip it. Hopefully Kat Von D releases some of these metallic eye shadows in singles.
